Socrates II, An Elegant Ballet

Socrates II makes an elegant ballet when he climbs the sides of the tank to eat.  You can see his little mouth, with it’s thousands of tiny teeth, opening and closing as he eats.

Every so often, Frida or Diego (the goldfish) will take a bite of his antenna, thinking it’s food.   I can see why, it’s very appetizing the way Socrates II waves them around like he’s conducting an orchestra.

Like a gecko’s tail, the antenna do grow back.  You can see in the video how one of Socrates II antenna is shorter than the other.
