A Shipping Morning and Evening

I spent the morning getting my Flying Vulva and Dragonfly, Butterfly and Beetle Potholders ready for the mail.  I took a break from shipping and started making more Flying Vulva Potholders.  The first batch sold out quickly.

Now I’m back to shipping, finishing up so I can bring the Potholders, Army of Good Bumper Sticks and Goddess in a Boat Note Cards to the Post Office tomorrow morning.  Then I can spend the rest of the day working on the potholders and maybe even figuring out the best way to make a Flying Vulva Decal.

Having an Etsy Shop has made the whole process of selling and shipping my work much easier for me and I think for everyone buying my art too.

  1. Is there a reason why you don’t use the flat rate bubble mailer from the USPS? The mailers are free and “if it fits, it ships”. Think they are $7.05 for shipping now. Sure beats buying envelopes…

    1. Kate, I don’t use bubble mailers because I don’t want to be using plastic. The envelopes I use are all paper. I’m looking into getting recycled envelopes, but so far the ones I’ve found are twice as much. Buying envelopes is still less expensive than the priority envelopes from the post office.
