Like most kids now, the ones at Bishop Maginn High School, where Jon volunteers, are learning at home. Today, their teacher Sue Silverstein asked Jon if we would make some videos from the farm to show the kids.
First Jon took a video of Zinnia who they all know. Then he came into my studio and I talked about being an artist and my work. We’ll be making more videos for the kids as long as they’re out of school and learning from home.
Jon is also raising money to buy 20 computers for the kids who don’t have one at home and have no way of taking the virtual classes the school is setting up.
