I chose seven of my Green Grandma’s Scrap’s Potholders and put them for sale in my Esty Shop. I saved a few of them to sell during the holidays.
One of the scraps is a strip of fabric with the Happy Day sailboat on it. I made the potholder below using some it and some of the green fabric.
I have more of the Happy Day sailboat fabric, so I’ll be making potholders using it and some of the other colors from the bag of Grandma’s Scraps.
My Grandmother’s Scraps Potholders are for sale in my Etsy Shop. Just click here to buy them. They’re $18 each + $5 shipping for one or more.

Maria – these are beautiful! I love the “hidden” sailboat. My dad was an artist; he was always implementing things he’d find on his walks in to his paintings. I have a painting of a clarinet player and on the clarinet is a screw he found (to save a tire) used as a key on the clarinet. Art is great ! You are amazing!
I think it so much in the seeing Mary. Artists must observe to be able to “see” to create. I love the description of your father’s painting and his seeing.
These are so beautiful!!
And may I say, Sell it, Fate!!!
She’s good at that I think.:)
