It’s been such a warm autumn, but the past couple of days have felt like the beginning of winter.
In the morning after feeding the sheep and donkeys, I open the gate to the back pasture. The animals get little nutrition from the grass this time of year, but grazing is what sheep do, how they spend their time.
As long as the ground isn’t covered in snow, they will find something to eat.
I’ve noticed, I don’t think you have had snow yet?
I am hoping, my wish comes true, and we have snow here on my birthday.
No snow yet Janet. We’ve had flurries but nothing that sticks.
