Soon Liam, Biddy and the rest of the sheep, except the three lambs, will be ready to be shorn. Our shearer Liz will be coming at the end of April or beginning of May.
I’m on a six-month schedule with the Vermont Fiber Mill. So shearing in April and October works out perfectly.
Evereyone’s wool is looking good. I didn’t shear Biddy in the fall because her wool was too short. But it’s long enough now and will make some beautiful yarn.
Maria, I love how you are able to get the sheep to look directly into your camera! I realize it sometimes may take quite a few “tries”, but the end results are always amazing photos! 🙂
Thanks Fran, It does make a difference when you can see their eyes in a photo. So much of their personality come through.
