(I thought I put this post up yesterday, but obviously I forgot to “publish” it. So here it is now….)
The donkeys and sheep have been chewing on the bushes around this Cherry Tree for a while.
In the past month or so I’ve been seeing how they’re stripping the bark from the branches. I counted on those bushes to protect the tree from the sheep and donkeys getting to its bark. But if they do end up killing the bushes, I’ll have to get out my chicken wire this spring and set it up around the tree to protect it for next winter.
