I just found these two pictures of Fanny and Lulu from the summer when the grass was long, green and full of wildflowers. It wasn’t that long ago, but the pastures look very different now.

Is Lulu sitting down, or is the grass that high! Such a sweet look on her face!!
The grass is that high. It would be cute if she were sitting, but I’ve never seen either of them do that.
Oh my goodness. Smiles all around here looking at these. Curious if the ears to side is a way of expressing something? I’ve not seen a donkey ever do that.
I imagine it is Barb, but I don’t know what. They do it sometimes,but not very often.
