Life is a gift death a doorway

I made this streaming pillow yesterday, it’s for the show.  I was thinking of Fran our chicken who put down the day before.  This time I think I’ll let the pillow talk for itself.

Life is a gift death a doorway

waves of joy and scattered tears

places of comfort

Letting the earth work her magic

Ok…so this is the pillow I want if it doesn’t sell (which it will). What a presence this has!

    Beautiful, and so true…

What a sweet tribute to Fran. May have been “only” a chicken, but what a chicken she was. Made me cry a little. They do touch our hearts, even the least of these creatures.

Dear Maria, I am new to your blog…well perhaps recycled is a better word. I found you through Mary Muncil’s blog, who I found through Jon Katz’s blog. Life is a circle. I so enjoy your honest, straight-forward approach and your wonderful, colorful art. So refreshing! So fun! I look forward to reading and seeing more and wish you tremendously good things for your upcoming show.

    I love the pillow.

I wish I were close enough to come to the show. I’m about 45 minutes from where Red is now. I know the show will be utterly fantastic!

    We’ll miss you Carolyn.
