There’s a new Gallery in Cambridge NY and Athena was singing at the opening reception on Friday night. When Jon and I walked in she was singing “Sweet Coming Home” one of the songs from her new record With Love that had me in tears last week as I was designing a scarf in my studio. It was a treat to hear it live.
The Green Bridge Galley is behind the offices of the local newspaper The Eagle, on Main Street. Matt Chinian was showing his landscapes. I’ve never seen his work before, and was especially drawn to the winter scenes where I felt the exposed emotion of the season. It’s exciting to have a new gallery in town. Just another place to visit if you come to the Bedlam Farm Open House this summer.
Thanks for the post on Athena – I wasn’t aware of her. she sounds lovely, I will pick up her cd for my iPod (see I do have some things, just not a cell phone! Yet 🙂 ) You and Jon are a gift to Cambridge, promoting all these local businesses.
