The alpacas at the Vermont Fiber Mill were in the far fields today, so Red didn’t get to visit them through the fence like he usually does. But we dropped off all the wool and will have it back in October as yarn and bumps. We got home in time to stack some fire wood and watch the rain come.
The white slips of paper have the name of each sheep on it. They will all be processed separately, so when the yarn comes back I’ll know who it came from. (notice the gorgeous alpaca rug on the floor.)
So cool – especially that you will know what sheep contributed what wool!
