I just finished stitching the title, date and my signature on my Butterfly Quilt. Tomorrow I’ll send it and the Vintage Lace and Hankie Scarf off to Tess, who will hang the quilt in her new Acupuncture office. It makes me smile to think it will be seen by all those people who come through Tess’ office for healing. The last time I was at the dentist they had a big TV screen in the waiting room with the local news on. I was trying to do my email on my iphone, but I couldn’t help overhearing about all the murders, fires and accidents. I know that when I ‘m in a place that’s supposed to be about health, I’d rather look at a quilt than watch the news.
Someday, Maria, when I’m done getting all my hanky scarves, I swear I’m going to get one of your quilts. Your work is so unique and beautiful!
