It was during the spring that Suzy texted me about how she was cursing as she tried to spin on her new spinning wheel. But it was just a matter of her getting used to something new. You can see the results of that spinning in her new shawls. They all have an added bulk and texture, that transforms them each into a unique work of functional art.
And once again Suzy will be at the Open House spinning(maybe even with her new spinning wheel) along with Sue Smith who will be spinning and knitting.
I sold out of all of Suzy’s shawls. She’ll just have to work on more for next year……
