I told Jon today that we should have named Bud, Renfield. We’re only seeing it with the warmer weather, his obsession with insects. With hunting and eating them.
I first saw it when I was watching a tiny spider casting herself down a silk from the ceiling of my studio. She was so small, but Bud just jumped up, mouth open and ate her in one gulp.
The huge buzzing fly (I don’t know what kind it was) that came into my studio today didn’t have a chance. Because, as I’ve learned, Bud doesn’t give up.
Funny video of Bud. I had no idea dogs ate bugs until the cicadas came out here about 4 years ago. Our dog had a feast for about 2 weeks. I guess it’s good protein!
