When someone sends me a box of fabric, I look through it, then I wash it. But sometimes, after that, it sits in my studio long enough to get musty.
So I wash it again.
After sewing together the backing for my Flying Free quilt, I washed it and hung it on the line to dry. It was a good drying day, hot and breezy and it dried quickly.

Now the backing is on the quilt and the whole thing is hanging in my studio as I tack it with a rust colored yarn.
What a precious photo of smilin’ Bud!
He is smiling isn’t he?
Bud is such a happy guy!
