As I hand stitched the opening in the bottom of my potholders today, it was as if I was seeing them for the first time.
I hardly remember making them, was surprised by the colors and patterns. Maybe it’s like when you’re driving and you get to where you were going without remembering exactly how you got there.
I made all these potholders with the fabric from my scrap bin. All those leftover pieces from quilts, fabric paintings, and potholders too.
