It’s a good apple year and the donkeys and sheep are getting their fill of apples. Some of them fall over the fence from the big tree in our yard. But I also can’t resist feeding the often insect chewed on apples to them also.

Jealous. No apples for us this year. The trees were covered with blossoms then … Bam! Snow and freezing temps and high winds. The squirrels are more disappointed than I am, but I will miss the homemade applesauce.
