Sunday In My Studio

Light dances across my studio floor, never in the same pattern, as it filters through the wind-blown leaves of the old Maples surrounding it.

It’s unusual for me to be in my studio on the weekend, but I got the urge to see if I could fit some of the new fabric that I’ve gotten in the past few weeks into my shelves.  All those piles spilling onto the floor were starting to get on my nerves.

There are times I find organizing my fabric boring and other times, like today, when it’s soothing.

I was able to finish organizing my shelf of small pieces of fabric and to my surprise, I fit all the new fabric in it.   Next, I’ll work on the big pieces, but I think I’ll leave that for another day.

  1. How pretty, Maria! Looks great! I know how you feel about getting it organized…I would feel the same way. It’s so good when it’s done. 🙂
