I caught Kitty and Anne relaxing on the old victorian chair in the barn. I thanked them for posting so regally.
Then I thought what a lovely image this would be on a potholder. But today when I looked a the photo again, I was struck by how much it reminded me of the couch and bird that are on the new fabric painting I’ve begun.
When I was making my Busy Bee Potholders in my mind I got the image of a tree in the fabric painting. Later when I was mucking the barn, the words, forest in my living room popped into my head. That’s when I knew where my fabric painting was going. Since then I’ve seen in my mind other elements of the piece, some more realized than others.
Suddenly I have so many ideas, so many things I want to work on, I’m not sure which to do first.
