I made my Sheep Potholders a while ago, but have only had the chance to put them up for sale in my Etsy shop today.
That’s Constance behind the fence that Fate is watching. Well, I guess they were watching each other. As you can see this is before the sheep were shorn.
I was given the linen towel from Ireland months ago. But it wasn’t until my wool came in and the sheep needed shearing again that I was inspired to use it to make potholders, echoing the rhythms of the farm.
I tried to give these sheep something to eat, green as in grass and flowers. There’s some sunshine and stars too.
