Before leaving for our vacation we opened the gate to the south pasture and the sheep and donkeys got their first taste of this year’s spring grass.
Seeing the donkeys and sheep enjoying the first spring grass is one of the great joys of having animals that graze.

This really reinforces my belief that Spring is here. What lovely enthusiasm for green grass! Their delight is almost visible, like haloes around their heads!
