Yesterday I moved a couple of the logs from the apple tree into the barn. Jon wants to let them dry out then he’s going to sand the top and polyurethane them to use as a table or a stool.
But the rest of the logs are still in the barnyard being nibbled on by the donkeys and sheep.
I love using apple wood in the fireplace, but I’ve never chewed on it. Does it taste like apples? Please ask Lulu and Fanny for me. Thanks!

I love how it looks like she has bangs.
They hate when I comb their bangs :). Soon they’ll all be gone with the rest of her shaggy winter hair.
