I look at my potholders, and I see in each one of them something special.
The little white dots that show up against the green, then pink in my Picnic Potholder. The grand staging of the Tiny House Potholder. The way the colorful patchwork of Floating In The Stars makes me think of a nebula.
I don’t pretend to know what you might see in these small pieces of art that I haven’t. But I’ve been doing this long enough to know that I can only put my work out into the world and believe in it.
After that, it’s on its own.
