Win this Heart of Shibori Scraps Potholder

I am feeling so much love from so many different places this Valentines Day I wanted to share some of it.

So after my Valentine Massage this morning (thank you Jon) I came right to the studio and made this Heart of Scraps Potholder from some of the left over shibori fabric.  And I’m giving it away.  Let’s see, it’s about 12:30 now so leave a comment on my blog, if you’d like a chance to win this potholder,  and at 12:30 tomorrow (Friday) I’ll announce the winner, which I’ll pick at random.   Wishing you all a love filled day.

  1. Maria, I would like to be entered in the potholder drawing. I loved the story of that fabric. Sounds like you are having a great Valentine’s day so far. My husband is a truck driver, so is not home a lot. He is up in Pa. today, actually. Trying to get his truck worked on. He sits and waits quite a lot. Wish he was here. Have a great day!!

  2. Maria, I’ve been following Jon on his blog for years, and now you. Thank you for sharing your love and thoughts with us all!

  3. Every woman’s dream would be to get a Valentine Massage! Since my beloved husband is in Heaven and not likely to do that for me, I would love the potholder as a remembrance of this beautiful sunshiny Valentines Day.

  4. Love the orange with the shibori, they go together well, and would certainly make a color splash in my kitchen. Take care, Heidi in Houston

  5. Maria, I can think of no better way to extend the warm feeling of Valentine’s Day to embrace the whole year. How appropriate it is that your prize is a potholder, which goes in the kitchen, the heart of the home. I hope I win your pot holder. Nancy

  16. What a lovely bright love filled potholder! Thank you for sharing. It was very interesting reading about the shibori fabric. You have inspired me to try to reignite the artist within – I’ll be taking a mosaic tile workshop this Saturday with a friend. Can’t wait – even though I sometimes feel the “I can’t do it” doubts start up. I CAN DO IT!
