Athena’s Concert at The Music Sanctuary in Cambridge NY on Saturday June 21st at 7pm has evolved!
Athena will be playing with a full Blues Band (Barry Hyman on guitar, Mitch Troop on Bass and Peter Maine on drums) and at least one guest singer. The Rock Your Voice Singers, a group of 10-15 year old kids from Athena’s Hubbard Hall Class will premier the song they all wrote together.
Another change is that the concert will be free. Or, if you don’t want to take your chances on the concert being sold out, (which Athena’s concerts often do) you can reserve a seat for $15. ( Call 518 365-9316 to make reservations).
But more than anything, Athena wants to share the joy of her music with anyone and everyone who wants to hear it. I’m usually too exhausted after one of our Open Houses to do anything but eat and sleep, but I’m planning on making it to the concert. It just sounds too good to miss.
