I put the black strip on the top and down the side of the quilt. (It’s hanging in a different direction now). Got the back on too. Now I’ll start tacking it with some medium brown yarn. I don’t have a name for it yet, but I know it will come as I continue to work on it.
Here’s a picture of the back.
I would call it, “Survive, then thrive”
I like those words Ruthie.
Mud Season!
Yes, it’s the spring thing Ellen. It’s working name is April Quilt. So, Mud Season and the blooming idea does seem to fit.
Hi Maria, this is lovely!I feel like I’m looking out a window when I look at the original part of your quilt. I’m not sure what is out the window, but it’s welcoming and bloomimg. I’ll be interested to hear what you see in it as you finish it up!
That blooming idea seems to be something people are seeing Janet.
Like your quilt and how it came to you. My first impression was that it looked like the side of a barn, a very old barn, but still in use.
2nd thought was: sunshine, warmth and comfort.
All good things Alice. thanks
Ellen,ha! Mud season indeed.
