My Red Star and Rhode Island Red hens HATED ice and snow. I had to make a path of thick straw for them to walk on to get them out of the barn on a nice winter day. They sure loved the mud that the snow left behind!! I am enjoying your “Roving Reports” on Talking to Animals VERY MUCH!!
