A Sunday Night Thirty Second Feather Meditation

You may have noticed that my Thirty Second Meditations, are often longer than Thirty Seconds.  Sometimes it just happens that they need a little more time.

For this  meditation video, I’m focusing on something so small,  I used my macro lens.  But  I thought it would be interesting to be able to see exactly what the video is of.  So I took the lens off at the end of thirty seconds and used the regular lens on my iPhone camera to get the whole picture.

I haven’t yet found a graceful way of removing the lens, so it’s a little clunky.  But I’m working on it.

Our hens are laying two eggs a day now.  And as you can see in the video, they sometimes have a small downy feather stuck to them that stir with the slightest movement of air.

Oh, and that’s Socks baaing in the background.

  1. I loved the feather meditation. Very relaxing! The egg reminds me of when Jon used to place an egg on various receptacles for his daily egg photo. I always loved those and would love for him to do that again. Suggest it to him, please.

    1. We have one of those photos hanging in the house Bonnie. I know he tried it once, but somehow it didn’t work the same as it did at Old Bedlam. Some things have their time.
