Asher has always been a bit shyer than his twin Issachar. He’s the one who hangs back and startles more easily.
Like his brother, Asher seems to have grown up this year. He’s filled out and his body is more in proportion, less the leggy teenager. His wool is slightly lighter, a bit more brown than his brothers.
Actually, there’s something softer about Asher in every way.
But he’s no less noticeable, with that seemingly gentle smile on his face.
I love when they smile. My goats expressed so much emotion through their faces. I still remember my mom brushing one of my goats and I could see the pure delight in his face. Love your portraits and sharing about your flock, sheep seem very similar…:)
I was surprised to find they are all so different Janet.
Asher looks very serene. Your sheep are beautiful animals.
Another very handsome boy. And I love his “smile”.
