Last night Jon went out with a flashlight to see the job Vince did plowing our driveway. I was done for the night having just taken a bath. So I looked out the window and saw that the driveway was clear, but Jon was standing in front of four feet of snow that was blocking the path from the house to the driveway.
Digging out the path was the first thing we did this morning then we dug out the garbage pails since it’s garbage day. After that, we moved on to digging out my car.
It will be another day I don’t get into my studio as we continue digging out. I hope to get another path cleared for the animals so they have a little more room to move around. This morning they were all lined on the path to the gate, sunning themselves.
The snow is gorgeous. When I was a child in Detroit, neighborhood kids would dig tunnels to each other’s homes.
Oh what fun that is!
